On Saturday I went to my year six prom. we got there at 7:30 (Lauren and I) and we met up with all of our friends. It was in a big hall and we all danced. The mums organised it (mine didn’t) and they spent so much time and effort was much appreciated. There were snacks and the side and a bar to get drinks too. We had to vote for prom prince and princess and it was Rae and Sachin so well done! All the mums that helped got a prize too. It was a really fun night and I wanted to say a really big thank you to everyone who helped. LONG LIVE YEAR SIX LEAVERS 2004 – 2011

Hello, my name is Natasha Mann, I want to tell you all about life and talk about friendship, school and all sorts of things. So let me cut straight to it: why do I feel different sometimes? My answer to that could be….. Urr I dunno – but the truth is we’re all forgetting how to just be ourselves.
We all look at someone and go, “Oh I wish I had that colour hair” or , “Oh my goodness look at that bag” but what we should be saying is; “hey it’s nice they have that, it suits them!” So to be successful then JUST BE YOURSELF and to remember how lucky you are rich or poor!
I know when I say that you’ll think; ‘me? Me how do I be me?’! We have all been looking round at people who do things then we say to ourselves ‘oh I’ll do that maybe it will make me look cool’. The truth is yes, you might look cool but then you will get in to the habit of thinking that you should be like them to stay cool’!
I’m saying; be comfortable in your own skin! What does that mean?
It means you were born as YOU and you might be losing that by pretending to be something you’re not. So even if it’s not the same as what your friends like … WHY DOES IT MATTER – IT DOESN’T – in fact it doesn’t matter at all what other people think!
We of course all need to copy things to learn how to do things right and what suites our image, however don’t try and base your entire image or character on someone else’s, coping is just adapting to the brilliant person you already are so be you and stay true!
